Your How?

In our last post we discussed “Your Why” so now we move on to “Your How.”

What Am I Talking About?

When you are going to move your life or your business forward you need to know how you are going to accomplish this. Normally when you are seeking how you are going to go about this, your first question is what type of business you should start. However, I am assuming you already have your business so we are going to the next step.

Common Mistake

So let me ask you a question; how are you going to reach your prospects? Most people that start their business have a few ideas or some potential customers waiting in the wings. However, most that start a business and even less that already have their businesses give this very little thought, but this is a huge mistake. Don’t fall into this trap!

Take Your Time
Don’t rush in and think you have this all figured out because most have no idea about their “how.” Ask yourself where your target demographic hangs out, what do they like, who do they like, what drives them, etc. This is not about you it is all about them – never forget that!

Your How

Once you know the habits of your prospects you can plan your how. Is email the best option and if so how will you obtain your prospects email addresses? Spamming is not only illegal but it will immediately put you in a category you don’t want to be in.

Will you advertise in your local paper, use direct mail, phone calls, etc.? There are a lot of things to think about and I suggest you spend some time in serious thought about this as it can be your ticket to wealth and success or a long frustration with building your business.

For now, think through all of your options. Has what you are doing currently paid off? If so, could it be better? If not, why not? Dig, dig, dig into all of this to get your answers.
