Risk and Reward:
Always keep in mind that in every
transaction, no matter how large or small, there is risk and reward involved.
If you want to get a raise on your job or you want to grow your business this
is key to helping you learn how to do this.
When you try on clothes in the
store there is a chance they won’t look the same when you get them home.
When you purchase a tool to help
you complete a job, you are believing the tool will work as advertised when you
get back to your jobsite.
When you have new tires installed
on your car you are believing they will not go flat right away or cause you any
other problems.
With all of these transactions
there is risk and reward at work. Our job as business people, salespeople,
caretakers, etc., is to remove the risk from the customers and prospects side
of the equation.
Spend some time going through
your business and find all of the places that the risk is greater for your
customers and prospects and reverse them. Put the risk on you and remove it
from them. Once you do this let them know by putting it all through your
marketing pieces, social media, sales presentations, etc.
Once you have done this you will
be one step closer to being the best that you can be. You are learning how to
grow your business right and separate yourself from your competition.
