Why would I write about “Passion” in a business blog? Great question and it has a lot to do with your success or failure.

You see many people and businesses are going through the motions for the money, the paycheck, a place to go, etc. We all know people and businesses just like this. I have worked for some of them and it was extremely frustrating and terribly limiting to say the least.

There is no way that you are going to have a major breakthrough or create an awesome business without passion. Now let’s not send our minds down the wrong path here, stay focused on your business objectives. Passion will:

Ø Get you up in the morning

Ø Keep you up at night

Ø Drive you to do more than you thought you were capable of doing

Ø Find creative ways to solve problems

Ø Hire the right people

Ø Stay focused

Ø See it through till you have reached your goal

Please understand the power that passion plays. Passion keeps you from getting burned out. Passion will push you when everything else says to give up. Many of our modern day conveniences came through passion like copy machines, cell phones, computers, medical devices, medical procedures, medicines, automobiles, electricity, indoor plumbing, air travel, space travel, etc., etc.

Being passionate about what you do will also:

Focus on your end result
Clearly understand what your prospects need and want
Push away all of the noise that will ultimately come your way to throw you off your path
Force you to zero in on what is most important
Clearly define where you are going

Reach down inside of you and figure out what your passion is. Once you have it and focus your energy there, success will come much faster.
