Who you are goes far deeper than that. Who you are is how you see yourself. Who you are is what makes you happy, what you enjoy. Who you are is also what makes you unhappy and the things you despise. It's what you would and would not do in any given situation. Who you are is NOT necessarily how other people see you. But eventually people will see you how you see yourself, so go ahead and love who you are!
From a business standpoint, if you truly know who you are then you'll know where you will be happy. A CEO of a large corporation may not be happy being a professional golfer. Just as the golfer may not be happy running a large corporation. If you are happy where you work then you will automatically work harder and do a better job than if you hate where you collect your paycheck from.
The old Confucius saying is certainly true: "Find a job you love and you will never work a day in your life."So if you know who you are, then you know what makes you happy in virtually every area of your life, including the job or career for you. Today take some time to think about where your dream job would be, whether that's working for someone else or starting your own company. Once you know that, work backwards and figure out how to make that a reality!
