Where Are You going?

Where are you going? That's a question some people can't answer. Not because they're lazy, or a failure, or have no ambition or talent. A lot of people go through life taking what life hands them and trying to blame it on circumstances or bad luck or any number of things but the real reason they can't answer the question is because they're not asking the right one.

The question everyone should be asking themselves is "Where do I want to go?" Your life is your choice. Just like if you are going on a trip or vacation, it's up to you where you go and how you get there. You could take a plane, car, train, boat, bus, bike, or even walk and you could go any number of places, but the choice is yours.

You don't set out on your journey and just start driving and see where you end up, that would make no sense and be wasteful and dangerous. You plan and set your destination first. Then you work backwards from there and decide where you will stay, how much money it will cost, how you should get there, when you will leave, and how long you will stay.

Life, business, and any choice is no different. You must first have a plan and work backwards from there all the way to where you are the very moment you are making your plan. Once you have these things figured out, you can set your life in motion toward the desired goal or end result.

I would like to challenge you today to decide where do you want to go? Perhaps for the first time in your life. Make a plan then work backwards from there. Don't let anything stop you. Don't doubt yourself or self edit.
